With scientific research, we increase knowledge and awareness about taste disruption in people with cancer
HungerNdThirst Foundation wants to find practical solutions for taste changes that are the result of cancer and cancer treatment. Scientific research is needed to improve the mapping of this problem.
With the results of the various research we work on, we develop applications that can help people with cancer in dealing with taste changes and disturbances. For Example, the four factsheets with advice for patients and care professionals.

Research with Wageningen University
In 2017 we collaborated with the Human Nutrition Department of Wageningen University. The research was about Smell and taste changes in cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy and its impact on eating behaviour. The research includes 3 different subprojects: Literature Research, Practice Research and scientific research.
